Since the tragic events of October 7th, countless lives have been shattered, and among them was the life of Adi Vital-Kaploun—a loving mother, wife, and daughter, taken too soon. Adi was an Israeli-Canadian, known for her humility, kindness, and strength, she is remembered as a hero who gave her life to protect her children and father.
In her final moments, Adi embodied the fierce spirit of a lioness, sheltering her children, warning her family, and pleading for the safety of those she loved. Her bravery saved the lives of her children and left a legacy of courage and selflessness.

When my baby boy lays atop my chest
Everything seems so good.
And this good carries on even when it is not so close-
Like magic dust swept up by the desert winds
we are both wrapped in green and dreams.
And sometimes when reality comes knocking-
We send it away for another time!
